MBKTech LinkShortner is an internal utility built exclusively for the MBKTech team (MBKTech.org) to create, manage, secure, and route branded short links for projects, internal portals, developer tooling, and official communications.
2. What Data We Record
When a visitor accesses a short link, our serverless edge router logs basic, high-level aggregated telemetry for performance monitoring, link health, and anti-abuse verification:
- Access Timestamp: Date and time the redirect occurred.
- Device & Platform Category: General classification (Desktop, Mobile, Tablet).
- Browser & OS Family: High-level user-agent category (e.g. Chrome, Safari, Windows, iOS).
- Referral Source: The website or app that directed the click (e.g. Twitter/X, WhatsApp, Google Search, Direct).
- Geographic Country Code: Anonymous country-level code provided by edge CDN headers (e.g.
US,PK,GB).
3. What We NEVER Collect
We do NOT perform invasive tracking or personal surveillance. Specifically:
- We do NOT collect visitor personal identities, email addresses, phone numbers, or residential addresses.
- We do NOT use third-party tracking pixels, advertising SDKs, cross-site cookies, or fingerprinting scripts.
- We do NOT record GPS or precise geographic coordinates.
- Passcodes for protected links are never exposed or transmitted unencrypted.
4. We DO NOT Sell or Monetize Data
We do not sell, rent, trade, broker, or share your data with any third-party advertisers, data brokers, or marketing networks. All telemetry is strictly stored inside MBKTech's private infrastructure solely to optimize redirect velocity and ensure service reliability for our team.
